After graduating from American University with degrees in Public Relations and Graphic Design, I decided to remain in Washington, DC. I have a passion for travel and learning and experiencing new things. I’ve taken it upon myself to travel as often as possible, even when I have nobody to travel with. Whenever I can’t get away, I fill my time with art exhibits, new restaurants, and live music—really any excuse to create a new outfit. Check out my Concert Archives profile to see all the concerts I’ve been (over 600 artists to date!).
When I’m at the office, I prefer working on collaborative and fast-paced projects that stretch my left and right brains simultaneously. I’ve worked at Avoq in D.C. for the last six years, and before that at DDC Public Affairs for nearly three. Beyond the experience I’ve gained working as a graphic designer at advocacy firms, I have additional knowledge through coursework, trainings, and internships in public relations, digital strategy and event management, as well as multiple UX trainings completed through Neilson Norman Group.
I’m always open to exploring new opportunities and taking on freelance projects, so reach out and let’s chat about how I can get involved!
