The Work
I am an endlessly collaborative designer who loves projects that challenge both my analytical and creative sides. I initially joined Avoq as a multidisciplinary designer, but over time I discovered a love for problem-solving within digital spaces that naturally led me to evolve into a UX/UI-focused role, where I continued expanding my skill set through hands-on experience, new tools, and ongoing professional training—including courses with Nielsen Norman Group.
As I grew into this specialty, I partnered closely with creative and development teams to deliver websites of all shapes and sizes, from initial architecture to polished, responsive interfaces. Alongside my web work, I’ve also led and contributed to cross-channel advertising campaigns in print, digital, social, and video. I have experience launching new initiatives—from websites and brand identities to multi-year ad campaigns—as well as maintaining and optimizing creative over time.
I’m passionate about crafting visually compelling, strategically grounded design solutions. With more than nine years of experience developing digital experiences and memorable campaigns, I’m excited to bring that blend of craft, strategy, and collaborative energy to a new team.
The Person
I was born and raised outside Phoenix, but life took a surprise turn when my family moved across the world to Tokyo during middle school. From there, I lived in Honolulu before eventually heading to Washington, D.C. for college. Being immersed in travel so young sparked a wanderlust that never faded—I’ve spent countless hours researching and building itineraries for trips I hope to take (and for anyone who asks).
Music is another defining thread in my life. I’m almost always listening to something new, and it’s not unusual to catch me dancing down the street with headphones in. I’ve been to more than 35 music festivals and have seen over 600 artists perform—some of them more than ten times. My taste may be niche, but I love connecting with people over live music and shared experiences.
I also have a creative side hobby that brings me a lot of joy: crafting costumes and cosplays. Whether it’s designing looks, styling hair and makeup, or pulling together unexpected fashion moments, I love the art of character-building and immersive self-expression. I’ve recently started documenting these creations daily on TikTok, leaning into playfulness, creativity, and the fun of not taking myself too seriously.
People in my life would say I’m unapologetically myself. I dance like no one’s watching, give honest opinions when asked, and try to experience the world with curiosity and joy.
