Sallie Makes Sense
The Sallie Mae Makes Sense campaign goal is to reframe policymakers perspective of private student lending and Sallie Mae’s role in the U.S. student debt crisis. I work alongside every aspect of the agency to create materials for this continuing 4-year campaign. The goal of the campaign, visually, is to use the highlighter motif as a way to simplify information and make sense of the complicated college financing landscape. Each year we create a new collection of pre-roll videos, banner ads and social ads. At the start of the campaign we developed a campaign website and have done several website enhancements over the lifespan of the project. We have produced multiple videos for the client including a series featuring thought leaders in the Sallie Mae company as well as videos in collaboration with Delaware State University. In addition to our typical paid advertising, we also ran a commercial series that I worked with an in-house animator and copywriter to create.
