The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) tasked our team with creating a policy-focused campaign to educate lawmakers on the essential role that medical schools and teaching hospitals play in advancing healthcare. The goal was to clearly articulate how academic medicine drives lifesaving research, prepares the next generation of physicians, and supports communities across the country.
Our campaign, Academic Medicine: What Starts Here Saves Lives, included a comprehensive suite of materials designed to engage policymakers across multiple channels. We developed a campaign landing page that served as the central hub, a full-length foundational video that helped humanize the impact of academic medicine, and a wide range of static and video assets for social media and display advertising.
To ensure consistency across the broader ecosystem, we also produced a detailed campaign guidebook for partner organizations—outlining messaging, visual standards, and best practices for extending the campaign at the local and regional levels.
