The Quantum Age

Dr. Erica Carlson approached our team to help establish her digital presence as a leading public expert on quantum physics. To introduce her work to a broader audience, we developed The Quantum Age, a branded video series supported by a visual identity, campaign landing page, and a cohesive set of digital assets.

We created the foundational brand system, including a simple yet distinctive logo featuring a stylized Q that references an atom. This mark served as a dynamic design anchor—its rotating motion was animated throughout the website and integrated into video graphics to reinforce the scientific theme.

The video series launched with four episodes filmed across two environments: a clean, stylized white-on-white set for educational content, and a more atmospheric “Quantum Realm” space for segments that benefited from visual effects or deeper conceptual explanations.

As the art director for the series, I defined the visual language for both sets, selected costuming, and guided the aesthetic direction for all post-production graphics. I also contributed as a designer across the broader project, creating the logo, campaign landing page, and additional branded materials requested by the client.
